State Rep. Jonathan Carroll is hosting a district art competition for students of all grades.

The 57th District representative invites art submissions of all mediums, which will be displayed at his Northbrook and Springfield offices. The contest is meant to inspire creativity among students and highlight the diversity and backgrounds of the district, officials say.

Students who want to submit their artwork can contact Carroll’s office at [email protected] or call (847) 229-5499. The deadline to submit artwork is March 31.

The district includes portions of Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Des Plaines, Glenview, Mount Prospect, Northbrook, Palatine, Prospect Heights and Wheeling.
