State Rep. Jonathan Carroll’s guide to IDES Concerns

Friends,

I’ve been working with my staff on another guide to assist you during these tumultuous times. We outlined the most common IDES related problems our office has gotten calls about, and set up this guide specifically detailing how to address each one. There are some steps that you can take on your own that may accelerate you getting your Unemployment Insurance Benefits through IDES, but I should be clear that most cases will still require a call back from an IDES Service Representative. We did include some additional ways to make sure you get that call as promptly as possible. Feel free to share with anyone you know who has still had issues getting either their UI or PUA benefits in the State of Illinois.

This is a work in progress, but I wanted to get you the information as soon as possible. If you have any issues that you do not see addressed in the guide, please email my Chief of Staff, Mike, at [email protected] , and he will do his best to answer your question, and incorporate the solution in the guide.

Also, here is a link to our previously released Individual and Small Business Resource Compilation, if you need some additional assistance while you’re waiting for your benefits.

In the meantime, I hope you and your family stay happy, healthy, and safe.

Best,
Jonathan
